Services / Delivery / Houchen Bindery Services

PALS partners with Houchen Bindery of Utica, Nebraska, to facilitate pick-up and delivery of materials from PALS member libraries to Houchen. PALS delivery drivers will pick up materials to be bound by Houchen and bring them to PALS for pick-up by Houchen. All materials to be routed to Houchen should be boxed and labeled with a PALS Houchen Bindery label. A Houchen truck stops at each of the PALS Service Centers once a month to pick-up and drop off materials. Bound materials that are returned from Houchen will then be delivered back to the member library. All billing questions or negotiations about bindery services and customer service issues are between the PALS member library and Houchen directly. Member librarians interested in becoming a Houchen customer for the first time must first contact Houchen directly to set up an account, get pricing information, etc.

PALS member libraries that are Houchen customers but have a large volume of bindery materials will continue to get delivery directly from Houchen.
