Registration
Register
for PALS Day 2008 is on CLeO. There is a $30.00 registration fee for all attendees,
which includes breaks and lunch. Your library will be billed for registrations.
You must cancel your registration 48 hours in advance, or your library will
be billed.
If you are unable to register on CLeO, please contact Debbie Fowler at 877-542-7257

Transportation
PALS will be providing free transportation to PALS Day.
Probable pickups based on registration for rides include:
Route 1 – Kankakee, Shorewood Service Center to Starved Rock Lodge
Route 2 – Rockford Service Center, Rochelle to Starved Rock Lodge
Route 3 – Moline, Annawan to Starved Rock Lodge
Departure times vary depending on routes and registration. The return trip
will leave Starved Rock Lodge at 3:45 pm. Please register for the ride which
includes the pickup point you need. The week before the event registered
riders will be notified by e-mail the exact time and place of pickups.
Hotel
Rooms
PALS staff has reserved a block of rooms at Starved Rock Lodge for either Tuesday,
May 6th or Wednesday, May 7th. If member staff is interested in staying either
or both of these nights, please contact Starved Rock Lodge at 1-800-868-ROCK
(7625) and indicate you would like to reserve a room in the PALS block. Rates
are $70 for single occupancy and $80 for double occupancy. Deadline for booking
to take advantage of this special pricing is April 6, 2008.

Menu
Breakfast: (served from 9:00 to 9:30 am) will consist of bagels and cream cheese and
assorted muffins, coffee, tea, and water
Picnic Buffet Lunch: (served from 11:45 am to 1:15 pm) will consist of Fried Chicken, Creamy Cole Slaw, Garden Salad (with French & Ranch dressings), Boston Baked Beans, Whole Kernel Corn, Rolls, Watermelon, Brownies and Iced Tea & Water
