- Dear colleagues -- I want to thank those of you who have registered for PALS Day, our annual celebration of library collaboration, PALS-style. With 200 registrants and more than a dozen programs, PALS Day 2010 promises to be an exciting occasion for learning and for renewing acquaintances with long-time colleagues from across our region.
- New Literacy Grant Application
- The Illinois State Library Literacy Office is pleased to announce that effective at 8:00 a.m. March 11, the web-based version of the Penny Severns Summer Family Literacy Grant application will become available. Once the web-based application is posted, the PDF version will no longer be available. Please plan accordingly.

- Stephanie Vance, advocacy consultant used by ALA, is offering a number of upcoming webinars about effective advocacy. You can participate in one annually at no cost.
