New Video: Gary Moore, "Playing with the Enemy"

As part of our "Bringin' It To the Hood" LSTA grant, Gary Moore visited PALS in June to talk about his book, Playing with the Enemy, and its story. Video of Gary's program has been added to the PALS Continuous Learning Archives.
In addition to making Gary's appearance possible, the grant also funded upgrades to the videoconference equipment at all three PALS service centers. These upgrades include dual flat-screen displays in the service centers, a server to stream live videoconference events on the web, and the ability to record and edit videoconferences for our website and for DVD.
Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library (ISL), a Division of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), under the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
