Librarians' Advisory Committee Representative Election Upcoming
Nominations are being sought from the Coal Valley, Freeport, Kankakee, and Sterling Neighborhoods for representatives to serve on the Librarians' Advisory Committee (LAC). Elected representative serve two year terms.
The Librarians’ Advisory Committee (LAC) serves as one of the formal conduits of information, advice and comment that PALS members may use to inform the PALS administration on timely issues. LAC consists of eight elected neighborhood representatives and seven representatives appointed by the executive director. The Committee meets on the second Friday of September, November, January, March, and June. Nominations will close on May 1, with the election concluding on May 28.
