Free Customizable Public Service Announcement for National Library Week
The American Library Association is offering free customizable PSAs to promote National Library Week.
The American Library Association is offering a free customizable public service announcement (PSA) to promote National Library Week. The PSA is available in print and radio format and features award-winning author, Neil Gaiman. Gaiman, the 2009 Newbery Medal winner for "The Graveyard Book", is a big fan of libraries and librarians. The PSA can be downloaded for free at www.ala.org/nlw. To request a PSA customized with their library's logo, librarians are asked to send a print quality logo file, their library's name and URL to: ala@atigraphics.com. The PSA will be sent in one to two weeks. Other promotional materials for National Library Week are included on ALA's website such as a sample press release and letter to the editor.
