Web-based classes and educational programs offered to library employees and trustees through WebJunction, Ed2Go, and other providers.
- PALS Online Events
- Workshops and classes provided directly by PALS, using OPAL, Wimba, and other online venues.
- Ed2Go
- Interactive classes from Education to Go. Most courses run 12 sessions over 6 weeks. The fee for each course you take (usually $69) will be billed to your library.
- WebJunction Courses
- A variety of facilitated or self-paced courses from several providers, pre-paid by the Illinois State Library.
- Illinois Wimba Archives
- Recordings of selected online workshops, hosted by WebJunction Illinois.

- "Online Programming for All Libraries". Presentations sponsored by a number of organizations, and archives of many programs are available.

- Classes offered by the Young Adult Library Services Association. Fee required for each course.
- SirsiDynix Institute
- A series of online seminars about current issues in librarianship and information technology.
