- The Illinois State Library provides all PALS member libraries in the state with access to several FirstSearch databases. PrairieCat members are, and other libraries may be, governing members of OCLC through a paid contract with the Illinois State Library. Governing members have access to OCLC's cataloging and resource sharing (interlibrary loan) services.
